Merlot 101

Question on a bottle of Robert Mondavi Coastal Merlot, any wine experts?

1. I would buy it and drink it asap you would need controlled temps etc if you have a good wine store ask the clerk? I hear Merlot from Chili is getting rave reviews lately
2. If you're buying the merlot as soon as it's released and have an appropriate place to store it, it might be at its peak in 3-4 years. That's based on experience with other merlots made with grapes from that region. 3. I don't think I'd try to cellar this wine, since I think it's meant to be drunk within a couple of years.
