What's a good wine to serve with baked mostaccioli?

I'm cooking dinner and was wondering what type of wine to serve with baked mostaccioli? White Cabernet Sauvignon? Merlot? Zinfandel?

  3. It would go with a rich cab. sav.. Compliment the red sauce and the meat, and be rich enough to with the cheese.

  6. kind of depends on how you are baking it. is it with a red sauce? white sauce? if it is like a meat based red sauce, I would do a chianti or sangiovese with it. Both are nice medium bodied reds that balance the acidity of the tomatoes. if a whtite sauce I would do pinot grigio, vermentino or sauv blanc.
