  1. As long as it hasn't been opened and it has been stored properly it will be good, good, good!
  2. of course it is...as long as its been taken care of, it should be great.
  3. yes, wine is good for a long time....if unopened... when opened it is really only good for 4 days....
  4. it depends if it open
  5. Havent you ever hear the expression "aged like wine" ....the older the better man
  6. To answer your question directly, Maybe. Whether wine is still "good" is dependant on many different things. Has the wine been stored properly? Meaning horizontally and at cellar temperature? Is the wine unopened and the capsule still intact? Was the wine made to be aged? Domaine St George's general Merlot now sells for under $7 a bottle. Wines of this quality don't always hold up - they are made to be drunk shortly after purchase. In short, the wine may still be drinkable and not "spoiled", but it also may not taste like much. Pop it open and try it. Have a back-up in case it's not very good. My fingers are crossed for you! : )
  7. As long as it hasn't been opened it will be just great.
  8. Stalker's answer is perfect. It's a big 'Maybe'. Some wines have the structure and balance to age beautifully for years, but even these can become vinegar if stored improperly (too warm or standing up so the cork dries out). "The older, the better" is a silly rule to go by, as some wines are at their peak on release and some will improve for years. No wine lasts forever, tho - all eventually peak and begin to lose their fruit. Good luck!
  9. No its not, better send it to me I will take care of it for you.
  10. If it was stored in a cool place on its side to keep the cork moist so that no air leaked through ----- heck yea, it'll be great. Lucky you.
